This Privacy Policy explains how Vyra ("Vyra", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our platform, which connects brands running short-form video campaigns with creators who post that content. By using Vyra, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details: name, email, role (brand or creator), and password (stored hashed by our auth provider).
  • Profile details: display name, country, languages, bio, categories, and avatar.
  • Brand and campaign details: company information, campaign briefs, budgets, and rules.
  • Submission details: the links to videos you submit to campaigns.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic usage and device data needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Payment-related identifiers from our payments provider (we do not store full card numbers).

2. TikTok data we access

When a creator connects their TikTok account through TikTok's official login, we access the following via TikTok's API, with the creator's authorization:

  • Profile information (scopes user.info.basic, user.info.profile): open ID, display name, avatar, and username/profile link — used to show and link the creator's connected account in their Vyra profile and dashboard.
  • Account statistics (scope user.info.stats): follower count — used to check campaign eligibility (some campaigns require a minimum follower range) and to show creators their audience size.
  • Public video data (scope video.list): the public videos on the connected account and their metadata and metrics (e.g. view, like, comment, and share counts). When a creator submits a campaign video, we use this to confirm the video belongs to their connected account (ownership verification) and to measure performance during the campaign's tracking window, which determines payouts.

We use TikTok data only for the purposes above. We do not sell TikTok data, use it for advertising profiling, or share it except as described in this policy. Our use of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to the TikTok Developer Terms and Platform Policies, including applicable limited-use requirements.

3. How we use information

  • Operate the platform: create accounts, run campaigns, and process submissions.
  • Verify eligibility and confirm ownership of submitted content.
  • Measure campaign performance and calculate and pay out earnings.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms and campaign rules.
  • Communicate with you about your account, campaigns, and payouts.

4. How we share information

  • Brands and creators:within a campaign, brands and creators see the information needed to run it (e.g. submitted videos and their verified performance). We do not expose a creator's private TikTok data beyond what a campaign requires.
  • Service providers: hosting, database, storage, and payments providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the platform.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you disconnect a social account, we stop accessing new data from it and delete or de-identify stored data derived from it when it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Disconnect TikTok at any time in Settings; you can also revoke access from your TikTok account settings.
  • Access, correct, or delete your account data by contacting us.
  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you, subject to verification.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive tokens at rest and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and respond to incidents responsibly.

8. Children

Vyra is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
